How to create Indeed profile

Creating and setting up your Indeed account

To create an account, go here.

Continuing with Google or Apple will link your existing Google/Apple account to Indeed. You do not need to set a separate password in this case.

If you want to have a separate Indeed account that is not linked to any other website, then enter an email instead. You will then be asked to set a password.

Then you will be asked whether you are a job seeker or an employer - you want to choose job seeker.

If you chose to sign up with just an email address, you will be asked to set a password and finish the creation.

Check your email inbox for a confirmation email from Indeed (it might be in spam).

Click on the link in the email to confirm your new Indeed account

After that, the first thing you see is adding a resume.

Select the resume you want to upload, make sure your resume is approved by your career coach.

You will get a confirmation page. Here you can Convert to an Indeed Resume

You then need to review the info to make sure Indeed analyzed your resume correctly

After that is done, you are taken to your profile page.

Filling out Qualifications will let you finish job applications faster, and filling out Job preferences will give you more relevant results when searching for jobs
